Hans Neleman (American, 1960) is a Dutch-born photographer and artist.
Neleman studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths University in London, England. He holds a Bachelor’s in Film & Photography and a Master of Art degree from New York University. His personal photography is rooted in still life while his commercial imagery is focused on advertising and portraiture. www.neleman.com
In 2007 he founded the boutique stock photography agency WIN-Initiative based in SoHo, New York City. www.win-initiative.com. He is the author of Moko: Maori Tattoo (1999), Silence (2000), which features his still life work and Night Chicas (2003), a portrayal of sex workers in Guatemala.
Neleman works from his studio in New York and a loft in a former lace factory in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
