Brechin Morgan is a native of Connecticut. At the age of sixteen he left high school to work in Greenwich Village. He hitch-hiked across the country and through Mexico riding over 1,000 miles through the southwest in railroad boxcars. He attended two years at Silvermine College of Art in New Canaan Connecticut and studied painting. For over twenty years he owned a sign company and painted large outdoor murals. He spent four and a half years sailing single handed around the world in his 27 foot sailboat “Otter”. Returning to Connecticut he set up a studio in Bridgeport CT and paints from his sailing and marine experiences.
