The Chihuly Garden and Glasshouse in in the heart of Seattle features the intricate and colorful glassworks of Dale Chihuly. You can also get yourself a craft cocktail and a bite to eat between exhibits.
The Brooklyn Museum is one of the largest art museums in the United States and contains around 500,000 works. The museum aims to bring art of all cultures to each visitor.
Finally, attracting around 500,000 visitors annually, the Torpedo Factory Art Center has been a landmark in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia for nearly 50 years. Visitors have the opportunity to view the 71 art studios and even observe some artists actively creating.

Solomon’s Castle is a one-of-a-kind experience in the Florida woodlands where patrons can tour the home, galleries, and workshop of internationally renowned artist Howard Solomon. Visitors can view countless metal sculptures, more than 80 stained glass windows, and even enjoy a meal in the Boat-in-the-Moat restaurant.
Additionally, the Lakenenland Sculpture Park is located in Marquette, Michigan and displays over 100 scrap metal sculptures by Tom Lakenen. The property also has other fun features including a bog walk, a picnic ground, a playground for kids, entertainment stages, and more!
Hidden gems: Straight from art reviewers on the internet, here are some more underground galleries for when you’ve been to the MET one too many times.
In New York State, the Dia Beacon art gallery is located on the Hudson River. The gallery is known for its collection of contemporary art that dates back to the 1960’s and is free for Hudson Valley residents on the last Sunday of each month.
In North Carolina, the Nasher Museum of Art is part of Duke University in Durham. The museum focuses on highlighting historically underrepresented artists, especially those of African descent.
Lastly, in California near Los Angeles, is the Hammer Museum. In an effort to further engage the community in the arts, the museum offers a variety of free events including lectures, film series, musical performances, and more!
